Welding, Cladding and Additive Manufacturing Materials

Additive Manufacturing (3D printed metal) and Welding are applied the same way and have many of the same susceptibilities. To hydrides, chlorides , sulfides and other salts which cause many forms of cracking and corrosion issues. H2S, in oil and gas production is a problem in welded materials exposed to product (oil and gas). Thermal diffusion has been used to stave off surface salts and protect against wear and heavy corrosion.  Because, the SMART process is both vaporous and aqueous application, we are able to meet every dimension inside and out.
